That's a funny looking plug, first sign of trouble.
Hmmmm, rod should be straighter than that.

Well, at least the stem was retained! Ouch, that's the valve sitting in there. Or what's left of it. Posted by Picasa

Here's GWVet enjoying a beer while taking a look at the packing process.
The final ramp down to the pallets, then off to the distributors. Posted by Picasa
The mainenance guy left his Krispy-Kremes on his paperwork. Posted by Picasa

Parts of the bottling and automated packaging process.
All in all a very clean and sterile area. Bottles and Kegs get sterilised right here and then get rinsed, evacuated and immediately filled with product. Posted by Picasa
Pretty sure this was the bottling machine. Posted by Picasa

The completed products awaiting shipment. My truck was parked right outside the garage door. Posted by Picasa
Here Doug actually taps a tank with the finished product in it and we fill up our cups. Beer at 35 degrees and made that very day. Posted by Picasa

Parts of the filtering process. Posted by Picasa
Buckets O' Hops. They come in pellet form and I learned that hops are in the marijuana family, that may explain something..... Posted by Picasa

Inside the main primary brewing tanks.... Posted by Picasa
Interesting flow chart for the Brewing process. I would have added a Barney type character sitting on a bar stool as the final step. Posted by Picasa
Entering the hospitality lounge, where they try to get you liquored up and buy stuff. Just kidding, they don't get you liquored up. Really, the beer is fresh, cold and mighty tasty.
You got any Michelob? I never did ask why there was a fishing reel and knit gloves on the bar, for fear of then having to harbor information about a crime.
Very nice bar. I could have stayed all night, except we had a school function to be at, can't show up at the PTA meeting drunk, again.
Leinies coaster. I noted that it said 'By 83 people who care' and Doug had said they had just changed it from '73' people to '83' to include the group of ten in this Milwaukee brewery. Posted by Picasa

Some of the holding tanks. I defer to Doug for the details. I liked the mirroring of the stairs on the tanks. Posted by Picasa
The official start of the tour, Dougs 'Lab', which was/is used for non-sinister purposes from what I could tell. I did NOT see any beakers with any Jekyl, or Hyde labels. Posted by Picasa
